Move Into Yoga – Retreat Terms & Conditions

I, the trip participant, agree to the following Terms & Conditions created and enforced by Move Into Yoga.
 

1. Terms of Service

Move Into Yoga clearly states what is included at the time of booking. Flights, airport transfers, optional excursions, personal travel/health insurance, and alcohol are strictly not included in the retreat price.
 

2. Reservations & Securing Your Spot

To provisionally hold your place on the retreat, you must complete the official booking request form. To secure your spot, a 30% non-refundable deposit must be paid within seven (7) days of receiving your confirmation email. If the deposit is not received within this 7-day window, Move Into Yoga reserves the right to release the hold and offer the place to another participant. By completing the booking form and paying your deposit, you legally agree to make full payment for your retreat place.
 

3. Payments & Instalments

• Pricing: All prices listed are per person.

• Deposit: The 30% non-refundable deposit goes directly toward your final balance.
   

• Instalment Plans: Payment plans are available only upon request. If approved, you may choose one of the following options:

  1. Pay in four (4) equal instalments on specified dates.

  2. Pay in two (2) equal instalments on specified dates.

  3. Pay the entire balance in one lump sum on a specified date.
      

• Late Sign-ups: If you register within ninety (90) days of the retreat start date, the remaining balance must be paid immediately as a one-time payment. No instalment options are available.
   

• Late Fees: Move Into Yoga reserves the right to charge a penalty fee for late payments or forfeit your place on the retreat entirely if deadlines are missed.
   

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

If you wish to cancel your trip, you must notify Move Into Yoga in writing via email. Cancellation takes effect on the date the email is received, subject to the following terms:

• Booking Grace Period: If you cancel within seven (7) days of your initial booking, 100% of your payment (including the deposit) is refundable. Exception: This grace period does not apply if your booking is made less than 90 days before the retreat start date.

• Cancellations Outside 90 Days: If you cancel more than 90 days prior to the retreat start date, any payments made will be refunded, minus your non-refundable 30% deposit.

• Cancellations Inside 90 Days: If you cancel 90 days or fewer before the retreat start date, all payments are entirely forfeited, and no refunds or credits will be issued.
   

5. Trip Changes & Flexible Itinerary

Move Into Yoga reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the itinerary, venue, vendors, or trip leadership if deemed necessary by the organizer (Hannah), local advisors, or partners. In the event of unforeseen circumstances (such as illness, severe weather, or vendor closures), Move Into Yoga will communicate changes and justifications at the earliest opportunity.

Note: Move Into Yoga strongly encourages purchasing comprehensive travel insurance immediately upon booking so you can reclaim non-refundable expenses through your insurer if your travel plans are disrupted.
 

6. Cancellations by Move Into Yoga & Force Majeure

Move Into Yoga guarantees that all scheduled activities secured with a valid deposit will take place, subject to reasonable itinerary adjustments or good-faith health and safety concerns.

• Minimum Numbers: Move Into Yoga reserves the right to cancel the retreat prior to departure if the minimum number of participants is not met. In this specific scenario, you will receive a 100% refund of all payments made to Move Into Yoga. You will not be entitled to claim additional compensation for airline tickets, gear purchases, passport/visa fees, or inconvenience.

• Force Majeure: This guarantee does not apply in cases of Force Majeure (acts of God, natural disasters, severe weather, civil unrest, global pandemics, or any forces outside of Move Into Yoga's reasonable control). In the case of Force Majeure, all payments made to Move Into Yoga are forfeited. Move Into Yoga is not responsible for any external expenses or damages incurred, including flight tickets or preparation costs.
   

7. Insurance, Travel Documents & Health

• Insurance: Move Into Yoga carries Tour Operators Insurance for your peace of mind. However, all participants are required to purchase their own comprehensive personal travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical expenses, and personal injury.

• Travel Documents: It is the sole responsibility of the traveller to obtain and verify all required travel documents, including valid passports, visas, driver's licenses, and mandatory health immunizations required by Portugal.

• Declaration of Health: By accepting this agreement, you represent that you have no physical conditions, injuries, or medical precautions that would adversely affect your ability to safely participate in yoga, breathwork, or outdoor excursions. You acknowledge that physical activity can be injurious to health and voluntarily assume all risks.
   

8. Acknowledgement of Risks & Liability Waiver

• Assumption of Risk: You acknowledge that participating in a coastal yoga retreat involves inherent risks (including accidental injury, illness, property damage, or in extreme cases, severe trauma or death) that cannot be entirely eliminated. Participation is purely voluntary.

• Liability Release: You hereby release, waive, and discharge Move Into Yoga, its owner (Hannah), and its contracted vendors from any and all liability, claims, or demands for personal injury, illness, emotional damage, property damage, or financial loss arising out of your participation in this retreat.
   

9. Guest Behaviour & Expulsion Policy

For the benefit, safety, and harmony of the group, Move Into Yoga reserves the right to accept or reject any participant at any time. If, at the sole discretion of the retreat leader, a participant is deemed highly disruptive, disrespectful, or a danger to the harmony of the trip, Move Into Yoga reserves the right to expel that participant immediately. In the event of expulsion, Move Into Yoga carries no obligation to pay a refund, cover return travel expenses, or offer compensation of any kind.
 

10. Photography & Media Release

You acknowledge and agree that Move Into Yoga may employ a photographer or videographer during the retreat. By signing this agreement, you grant Move Into Yoga a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use your photographic or video likeness captured during the retreat for promotional, marketing, and commercial purposes across websites, print media, and social media channels. If you wish to opt out of media tracking, you must notify the retreat leader in writing prior to the start of the retreat.
